Unlocking HR’s Role in Business Transformation – HR Confluence 2023

This year’s HR Confluence centered around the theme of “HR for Business Transformation – Lessons from Success Stories.” Collaborating with Convener Dr. Pramod Solanki, industry veterans like Visty Banaji (Founder of Banner Global Consulting and former HR Head at Godrej Industries) and Dilip Sinha (Head of HR at JSW Steel) contributed their insights in shaping the conclave.

Dr. Pramod Solanki set the stage by contextualizing the transformative potential of HR within organizations. Rajesh Padmanabhan, Director and CHRO of Welspun Group, delivered a compelling keynote address that explored diverse opportunities for HR to create value for both business and people.

A distinguished panel of HR and business leaders, including Adil Malia (CEO of the firm and former President HR at Essar Group) as the panel discussion chair, engaged in a thought-provoking dialogue on “Business Enabling HR.” Panelists also included Alok Sheopurkar (EVP – HR at HDFC Asset Management Company), Dr. Deepak Deshpande (CHRO of Netmagic Solutions), Mayur Satyavrat (Founder of EmSus), Prashant Srivastava (Founder of TheOther 2 Thirds Consulting), Ratish Jha (Business Head – Transformer Division at RPG Group), and Dr. Sanjay Muthal (CEO of Kontempore Leadership Solutions and Services).

In addition to idea exchange, the conference featured an experiential sharing segment, where participating organizations showcased their impactful HR interventions that drove significant business outcomes. The top three organizations were honored as Transformation Agents. The participating organizations included L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, Zydus Cadila Healthcare, Alkem Laboratories, DDI (Development Dimension International), Adizes India, TheOther 2 Thirds Consulting, DAA Consulting.

Passionately presenting their work, these organizations captivated the audience throughout the event. The jury, comprising Visty Banaji and Prashant Kale (VP – HR at Dorf Ketal), faced a tough decision in selecting the winners. After careful consideration, the results were announced:

– Alkem Laboratories – 1st Runners Up

– Zydus Cadila – 2nd Runners Up
